Names Entered in Search Tools
When you type a name, location, or other detail into a search box operated by a third-party provider, the query is sent to that provider for processing. Macon County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s privacy terms govern its collection, matching, pricing, and results.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or use an available contact form, we keep the message and the contact details needed to respond. We do not share those messages outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.

These choices concern data held by this private site. Requests for Macon County government records, corrections records, or expungement under Tennessee Code § 40-32-101 must go to the agency or court that controls those records. The Tennessee Public Records Act, including Tenn. Code §§ 10-7-503 and 10-7-504, governs access to and exemptions for Tennessee governmental records; it does not make those records part of our own user-data files.
